VALVE ADJUSTING TOOL SET OF 3
Valve adjusting on the Rabbit, Scirocco, and Jetta 1 requires the use of a special tool to hold the cam followers in the down position in order to remove the shims for replacement. The valve adjusting pliers are then used to remove the shim. Note: The 1.6 and 1.7 liter engines use a different tool than the 1.8 liter engine becuase of valve spacing. The Shim Set works on all solid lifter cylinder heads.
